Summer Storm

Antonio Vivaldi, arr. Ben Tordoff

sSAATTBb
Duration:
03:20

The Four Seasons is Vivaldi's best known work, and this, the finale of the second concerto "summer", is one of the better known movements. Depicting a sudden summer thunderstorm, it features ensemble thunder, cascading rain throughout the parts, and a formidable solo part, here testing the skill of our sopranino player.

This arrangement was put together for Plural Sax's Autumn gathering 2019, along with Funeral March of a Marionette and Sarabande.
