Arcangelo Corelli's concerto "Fatto per la notte di Natale" (made for the night of Christmas) was one of a set of concerto grosso published in 1714. It is likely it was composed much earlier, perhaps being the concerto performed in a 1690 Christmas concert for Corelli's patron, Cardinal Ottoboni.
Here we feature two of the later movements arranged for saxophone octet: a spritely waltz and then the well known pastorale. This arrangement was published on Christmas Night 2020.
