Haydn Symphony No 103 "Drumroll" (2nd mvt)

Franz Josef Haydn, arr. Peter Guthrie

Composed:
1795
Arranged:
2003
Grouping:
sSAATTBb

Haydn's penultimate symphony was another composed for his second visit to London, and is nick-named for the long timpani roll that opens the first movement. This arrangement is of the second movement "Andante piĆ¹ tosto allegretto", supposedly based on a Croatian folk song that Haydn knew.
