Written in celebration of his own 25th Wedding Anniversary, Grieg's piano piece "Hochzeitstag auf Troldhaugen" (literally "Wedding Anniversary at Troldhaugen" but often known as "Wedding Day at Troldhaugen") is a joyful march and interlude with a simple yet memorable theme. Troldhaugen, the "troll hill", was Grieg's home near Bergen, Norway.
This arrangement is a simplification of the piano score but still leaves plenty of work to do for all the saxes. See also our simpler arrangement for sax quartet.
